Astrology May 14-20 2024 - Sun conjunct Jupiter! Mercury ingress Taurus - Sun ingress Gemini

 

This week in astrology we enter the 1st quarter moon phase in Leo square the sun in Taurus. This phase shows tension and a push to action. Pride, drama, creativity, and the need to self-express, play and have fun could be challenged for a day or two by mid-week, but shouldn't be too much of a problem considering the moon in Leo is ruled by the sun which is approaching a conjunction with Jupiter in the sign of Taurus, which is ruled by a strong Venus in Taurus. This is big indulgent abundant energy with a strong need for the good things of life. Venus will also be conjunct Uranus by this weekend showing some excitement, something different and unusual in regard to either relationships, money or resources. Mercury finally leaves Aries and ingresses Taurus for a change in communication preferences, and the way people think and process information. Eventually the mind slows down and becomes more stable. However, at first Mercury in Taurus will square Pluto in Aquarius activating mental intensity, obsessiveness, powerful persuasive words and information, thoughts and ideas. Groups, friends, community, causes, politics, etc could be the source of conflict with communications but will smooth out somewhat as the week goes on. In general people start thinking about personal stability, money, resources, comforts and pleasure and what they need and want more than what's outward of self. The weekend should be big vibes with sun conj Jupiter - luck, opportunities, optimism, indulgence and pleasure in new and exciting ways with the ruler Venus conj Uranus. Sunday May 19 could be the most fateful day as Mars and moon align with the Nodes of Fate - an acceleration to one's destiny is possible, for good or bad. Be very mindful of your impulsive actions. The sun sextiles Neptune before a change of season connecting consciousness to what's hidden, intuitive, behind the scenes, spiritual other dimensional, dreams, fantasies, film, music, festivals, your own world, retreat, drugs, alcohol, etc. It's a quick softening of energy until next week when the sun ingresses Gemini with a new focus and purpose increasing intellectualism, communications, information, networking a more social outward phase full of variety. Astrology Report May 7-13 2024 Taurus new moon - Sun conj Uranus - Venus sextile Saturn

This week in Astrology we start a new lunar cycle with the moon conjunct the sun for the Taurus new moon ruled by Venus. Venus is happy and at home in her home sign of Taurus acting as the host so to speak for the moon, the sun, Uranus and Jupiter. This could be one of the best lunar cycles of the year, with Venus in charge and in a easy connection with Saturn, This cycle is all about the earthly side of life - grounded, practical, stable and reliable. This cycle offers more pleasure, peace and comfort. The energics want to slow down a bit, relax and indulge rather than create conflict or assert extra energy. However, conflict will still be on the outer edges in the background with Mars, Chiron, the North Node and Mercury still in Aries, but the counter balance of a Taurus stellium will diminish that a lot.

Uranus and Jupiter are placing demands on Venus for their personal agenda and Venus could be wiling to accommodate as long as it's not too extreme. Uranus wants change and innovation and Jupiter wants more resources.  Perhaps a lot of people want change for the better in their life but could also feel resistance to taking that action out of fear of losing the stability and comforts that they already have, fearing the new and the unknown. Of course a lot of people want more resources but that also requires changing with new activity; new patterns and habits

This cycle is showing people have a greater potential for recognizing new values and better ways to work with and manage money and resources that could create better abundance, but being creative and innovative is necessary for the best results. Taurus does not like change, nor do any of the fixed signs. Therefore all this Taurus squaring Leo and Aquarius, opposing Scorpio could add a lot of tension and pressure to those signs within this cycle. This cycle will be a lot easer for Virgo, Capricorn, Cancer and Pisces. Libra, Gemini and Sagittarius will feel more irritation and be required to make adjustments during this cycle.

This is a great cycle for getting more of what you want and need for the physical and material levels of life but fear, stubbornness and laziness has the potential of stifling that progress.

This week the moon will be waxing through Taurus, Gemini, Cancer and Leo. Next Monday the sun is conjunct Uranus showing a strong focus on change and innovation while Venus is sextile Saturn showing a preference for stability, reliability, maturity and a good connection to authority. Astrology April 30-May 6 2024 - Mars ingress Aries - Pluto Station Rx - Venus square Pluto +

 

This week in astrology we reach the last quarter moon in Aquarius square the sun in Taurus. The moon has half its light in the sky - it's the crisis in consciousness phase, which can show some emotional or circumstance challenges, especially around the time it's exact May 1 first thing in the morning. It's a time of needing acceptance and integration for what has taken place the previous three weeks of the current lunar cycle. The last quarter moon day is usually not as smooth and cooperative generally speaking. This Aquarius last quarter moon is a conflict between freedom, rebelliousness, revolutionary thoughts, ideas, feelings and needs verse stability, reliability, peace, comfort and pleasure. It's even a more intense last quarter moon than normal because Pluto is stationing retrograde in Aquarius exact by May 2. This shows an amplified emotional intensity within the context of groups of people, friends, organizations and general social dynamics. Power and control dynamics are beginning to shift. This can also include tension connected to financial situations and the funding of certain groups, causes and organizations. Transformation has moved as far forward as it can on the outer level and is now going to transform inner levels the next several months.

The moon will be waning through Aquarius, Pisces and Aries closing out this current lunar cycle and then ingressing Taurus next week for the Taurus new moon sextile Saturn which will be a much more stable and secure lunar cycle. We now have both Mars and Venus in their home signs of Taurus and Aries. This shows we have better opportunity and the resources to get what we want. This will also begin to change relationship and financial dynamics for the better but will be a slow start. Mars in Aries shows a better opportunity for starting new activities, being more physical and active in general. Action is more instinctive even impulsive with the ability to be more daring and riskier. Passion and desire increases. Venus in Taurus shows a better sense of value, peace and beauty with strong desires of stability and reliability, but also a stronger desire for the physical and indulging in the five senses of pleasure. Both Mars and Venus are in a relationship with Pluto this week. Mars in an easy one and Venus in a difficult one. Mars sextile Pluto adds to the power and a stronger sense of transformation to the physical active sides of life. Venus square Pluto is a difficult aspect around power and control within money and relationship for a few days early this week. Be careful of the need to manipulate situations and people to get what you want. Strong desires and obsessiveness is possible. Power plays in some relationships are likely. Mercury in Aries is beginning to build momentum direct this week but is still slow. Mercury will conjunct Chiron for the 3rd and final time by next Monday and could show insight about where some of our deeper insecurities and wounds are coming from. Be careful what you tell yourself and others as words can be wounding or healing. Choose the positive in how you communicate for best results. Next Monday the sun will sextile Saturn, showing the maturity, stability and security in general becoming stronger. Astrology April 23-29,-2024 -Scorpio Full Moon -Mercury SD -Mars conj Neptune -Venus ingress Taurus

 

This week in Astrology we reach the full moon in Scorpio and the end of eclipse season. The full moon in Scorpio is the most intense moon placement. This is the peak emotional time of the lunar cycle which requires releasing unhealthy emotional attachments and unhealthy feelings of any kind. The Scorpio moon is private/secretive and deals with deep hidden emotions and wants to control them but has a hard time doing that. The Scorpio moon doesn't forget and forgive but on some level for the self, that's what needs to happen. Scorpio deals with the taboo, the under currents, what's hidden, etc. Issues of betrayal, jealousy, suspicion, and other unhealthy raw emotions and feelings. This full moon can easily manifest drama and intensity. The full moon is square Pluto adding a forced transformation to mood and circumstances and deals with power and control issues. Money, resources, investments, banks, etc can also go through changes. Some things are ending or starting. Mercury is finally stationing direct and will help us start moving forward in the right direction but that process will still be slow all week as Mercury is slow all week. There could be some reversals back on track in your Aries area of life (house). Mars is conj Neptune behind the scenes in Pisces. This is not clear action or very decisive. Action is based on intuition, faith, beliefs etc. Be very careful what motivates you to take action. This placement is not always positive or healthy. This can also show strong weather events, ocean, flooding, navy military activity, gas/oil chemical explosions, leaks, etc. This week could have more overdoses, poisonings, escapism than normal. This week in astrology the moon is waning through the rest of Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius and Capricorn. There is only one major aspect until next Monday so not a lot astrologically but we are in the middle of eclipse season which is very significant for life changes and a pivotal point of the year. The one major aspect this week is Venus sextile Uranus exact Thursday March 28. That shows something new or different is available of value or pleasure if we are willing to try it. That could be in context to relationship activity, money, resources or anything of indulgence if we step outside the box and try it. There could be good results. Excitability over interactions with others is possible. Unique expression of affections. Sharing excitement with a loved one. Mental/artistic creativity and originality. Next Monday April 1 we reach the last quarter moon in Capricorn square the sun in Aries - the crisis in consciousness phase. What we are focused on is at odds with the mood, needs and circumstances of the day. Cap verses Aries - slow verses fast - doing what we want for self verses work, commitments, responsibilities, etc. It's a time to accept, don't push too hard, integrate the past, do what must be done. Some emotional struggles or circumstances could show. If you are struggling or fumbling with something, come back to it later when there is better energy. Generally the day and or people are not as cooperative.  Mercury stations retrograde April 1st at 27 Aries. Astrology March 19-25 2024 - Equinox - Libra Lunar Eclipse - Venus conj Saturn sextile Jupiter +

Welcome to eclipse season! We are entering the most pivotal point of the year. This week in astrology we have the moon waxing through Leo, Virgo and then becoming full in Libra peaking with the Libra Lunar eclipse at 5 degrees by Monday March 25. The eclipse will be at Midnight (west coast) Sunday night into Monday morning.

We have a lot of major aspects for the week ahead leading to that eclipse including the sun ingression Aries for the astrological new year (equinox) where we have reached equal light vs dark, but more and more light builds from this point on. It's a new season, new focus, new propose for the rest of the year with much more outward activity, and a need to start new things, taking charge. Check your birth chart to see where you have Aries. That area of life is ready for change and has the new focus. The sun will also sextile Pluto for empowerment and transformation this week, changing gears. Mercury meets up With Chiron in the spot that Mercury will retrograde back to and station direct by the end of April. Individuality & confidence could be wounded and needs healing. Wounds/sensitivities/healing could be spoken about or on the mind in general and going through a process until May 15. Regardless your mind to Late Aries area of life has a important development starting now until Mid May. What house in your chart is Aries? That's where the important development is. Another big aspect this week is Venus conjunct Saturn followed by Venus sextile Jupiter. Important relationship activity and or money and resources. Serious mature relationship dynamics this week. Some limitations to affection and love are possible, but also commitment and taking things to next level could be needed as well. It's a time to be more conservatives with money and love. In some cases it could be about making a serious long term financial commitment if you need to commit to or buy a big ticket item. It should have good results as Venus sextile Jupiter moving forward out of Shadow into new territory by Sunday into next week. Mars also changes signs ingression Pisces. What motivates us to take action, what inspires action and drive changes based on our surroundings and influences. Make sure they are positive. The lunar eclipse Sunday night into Monday morning at 5 Libra is a karmic culmination in relationships of different kinds. The way we relate to others is ready to change for the long term future. We need to let go of old unhealthy relationship patterns so we can do things better for the future. Things starting or ending now can have a long term affect for the future. This week in Astrology we are closing out the current lunar cycle and starting a new one. The moon will be waning through the rest of Capricorn, waning through Aquarius, becoming dark in Pisces and reaching the conjunction with the sun by Sunday March 10 for the Pisces new moon, ruled by Jupiter in Taurus. The moon will then wax forward through Aries by next week. Mercury will make a conjunction with Neptune in Pisces by Friday March 8 showing strong imagination, inspiration, intuition, dreams and fantasies before leaving Pisces and ingressing Aries by March 9. This is a major change for the mind, communications, information and perception of reality. This is the beginning of an extended stay for Mercury in Aries as this is the sign it will go retrograde next month during eclipse season. Mercury will finally leave Aries and ingress Taurus by May 15. From now until then the mind becomes sharp and quick with a major development that will take time to unfold in your Aries area of life.(check your birth chart). This lunar cycle will be rooted in Pisces with Neptune. Strong behind the scenes focus and activity. It will be a very sensitive cycle with strong imagination, rooted in dreams, fantasies and creativity. There will be a strong connection to the collective unconsciousness and other realities, easy to be influenced by others and our surroundings. It will likely be a stormy wet cycle. On mundane world levels this is likely a strong focus on Gov't financial situations this week which should workout by the end of the week. It's also great if you need to get a loan or deal with money and resources from Govt, banks, the establishment, get support from authority, etc, or if you need to make any big commitments, buy or sell. Wednesday through Friday would be the best days for that. This week can be difficult or positive depending on your birth chart. For some people there can be a slow, tired, draining vibe, dealing with health issues or serious behind the scenes duties, commitments and obligations. Pisces season is best to retreat, rest, rejuvenate your spiritual, emotional, and energetic batteries for the busy time we will face late March and April with eclipse season that shows a lot of new activity. We reach peak emotional tension this week with the full moon plus max awareness and consciousness expansion about our Virgo area of life. Where is Vigo in your birth chart and what area of life does that represent? That's were there needs to be improvements and organization. In general we reach a point where something is ready to end or start in context to making practical improvements, especially with daily life routines including health routine, work and service routines. Health could be a major focus this next couple weeks. We could become aware of hidden health issues or causes.
