Third quarter moon Dec 14 2014 - Uranus square Pluto

It's third quarter moon time, Stress and tension forces dynamic action, challenges and obstacles appear. Typically known as a crisis in consciousness phase in regards to this full lunar cycle; looking back, needing to make adjustments with how things have turned out; a certain level of acceptance and a wiliness to release what does not work, even if its a little disappointing.

This moon is Virgo, so it's very logical and analytical. This can help us stay grounded as the sun is highlighting big dreams and adventures for the future that might be a little too much. Virgo moon brings us back to earth. Yet, the pull to the adventurous sun is extra powerful right now as it makes a perfect trine aspect to retrograde Jupiter, the largest planet in the solar system and means an easy outlet for some of this 3rd quarter moon tension to be released.  That's the secret, direct and release. Jupiter retro is going to help us go back over our beliefs about our self and make some adjustments. We can actually find the joy and adventure we seek in the outside world through the self and inner world, exploring the higher mind; directing expansive energy into learning new things, using creativity to fulfill a need for expansion and expression of self without having tot totally change our outward practical life.

At the same time we have Uranus and Pluto moving into a 6th out of 7 exact square since 2012. Systems are breaking down, both in society and somewhere in our personal life. Revolution vs tradition; commitment vs freedom. This can really heat people up so random unexpected expressions and situations can come up now. The urge to revolt and do our own thing is strong but we can't totally split or only crisis and destruction will appear so we have to build stability from a grounded logical perspective yet with  authenticity and innovation of Uranus. Authority issues and power struggles are possible but it's also possible a lot of this tension will be on the inside and manifest at a later time. Increase in earthquakes and other destructive events are also possible around this time

So here's the thing; these are the universal energies around us right now regardless if we like it or not but because the universe is mental we can direct our personal universe through our mind and heart letting these energies play out around us without trying to control too much. Circumstances could be intense but how we react to them is everything. Use the positive outlet from sun to Jupiter, exploring the higher mind and future possibilities. Do art or other creative projects that won't totally destroy your life's routine, finding that extra fulfillment you seek through self.

Take this last quarter moon to go within self and release all the troubles of this last few weeks. Prepare self for the upcoming solstice and Capricorn new moon on Dec 21.
