Venus in Capricorn Dec 10 2014

Venus says goodbye to Sagittarius and hello to Capricorn; it's time to stop messing around! Relationship dynamics change, along with personal values attractions, desires, resources and everything else you personally consider sweet and nice, is up for some adjustments next few weeks. In Capricorn the feminine turns all business and mature like, real serious, playing by the rules; her values change, even if so slightly. I can only speak generally here but Venus in Capricorn likes retro, old school delights. She likes to take it slow, She's attracted to achieving something long term which takes time. Commitment and responsibility is attractive for this Venus and the feminine will generally be attracted to the more shy humble gentlemen type and maybe a man in a suit which she might wear too. Vintage becomes sexy again; manners and opening her door is too, might even score you some extra points, for a week or two :)

 With Venus in Capricorn reputation is a serious matter. Don't expect too much gushy lovey stuff, she can be a little rough around the edges. This Venus shows her love in other ways, like bringing home the bacon. The thing is Venus is way ahead of the game as the main power source of the solar system along with Mercury and Ceres are all still back in Sagittarius reflecting the need for traveling, looking forward to holiday  and other fun things, learning about stuff, dreaming about everything jolly, not wanting to be tied down by responsibilities and commitments. Sagittarius needs some space damnit, room to go climb a mountain or something; the freedom to roam, ..and if not that then at least a big screen tv, sports and some beer.

However the universal desire will be on much more than that.

This particular Venus in Capricorn could easily lead people into deeper more serious relationship matters. That's because she will be heading towards Pluto in Capricorns ruled by Saturn which is at the last 2 degrees of deep Scorpio the sign of Pluto, mutual reception here, which means Venus will be in the middle of the two karmic heavy weights that isn't always fun, tho could be. Now we are heading into mob territory. Throw some Virgo in there and she'll have tattoos and some piercings too. ha just kidding, kinda. Dry humor can go a long way with this one. We might start to desire achievement of something. But what? I'm thinking long term relationship transformation! Saturn has been in Scorpio for the last 2 1/2 years, one more month before it leaves and starts transit thru Sagittarius. These last 2 degrees suggest some serious relationship business needs to be taken care of before the end of this year. Commitments of the past. Truly ending this last 2 1/2 years of drama, change, crisis, suspicion, fears and tons of other stuff that came up from the shadows. What needs to be finalized in regards to your money or love matters? Old commitments end, new commitments start. Love might get intense closer she gets to Pluto where all truths of the last year come out, which transforms the relationship for good or bad, depending on the choices of this last cycle. A lot of this could be more about money then love but love will have this tone too, all hidden undercurrents as the Sagittarius energy keeps the jokes rolling in on the surface. until the Capricorn new moon that is right before x-mas then the rest of the energy catches up with Venus and our desires, which will be to take care of business !

I would be careful and responsible with money this year and be prepared for some relationship intensity and because of that love can feel a bit chilly when it comes to intimacy. But knowing all this we can work with it creatively however you see fit. Yesterday the universal desire might have been to go party in Vegas whereas tomorrow might be playing a board game at grandmas, saving your money for a rainy day. Be smart this month take care of financial business that has been lingering in the shadows or holding you up from feeling free. Same could be said for any expired relationships. Don't let holidays energy weigh you down.

Jupiter is retrograde now, the outward expansion of life joy this last several months will slow down now and help us find more joy and faith within, seeking adventure in the mind rather than around the world. Well that's the gist of it.
