Saturn Stations Direct - Jupiter Square Saturn Aug 2 2015

This Sunday Aug 2 Saturn stations at 28 degrees Scorpio and begins to move direct very slowly after being retrograde since last March 14. This is powerful energy changing directions. Saturn's retrograde phase was about us going within and reevaluating some of our commitments and responsibilities of the past before we could move forward with new commitments and added responsibilities for the future. It was a great time to deal with anything hanging over our head from the past and so hopefully most people were able to bring closure to some of those lingering issues (if they were being responsible) and clear on what commitments they wanted to move forward on at this point in time. Also going within and understating deep emotional issues when it comes to partnership and your limitations around intimacy with others. Well that time has come to move forward now. However as Jupiter moves into a square with Saturn at the same time there is a lot of energy trying to expand some areas of our life and yet the energy of restriction and limitation is also strong so these two different energies are going at it for the next several months causing some big waves within and without which will be felt very strongly this next several weeks starting now if not already. Expand or retract is the feeling some have but from the astrological perspective the secret to expanding your life successfully with new commitments and responsibilities is doing it very slowly and doing it right, not cutting corners and focusing on the details. Saturn is asking for depth and maturity to find the root cause of what has kept you from expanding your heart energy, joy and life to the point that you have dreamt about all these years. A lot of the reasons were hidden, subconscious and psychological and so the universe might have brought you situations to help make those hidden issues more clear.

It's been extra strong for those folks but everyone is facing it on some level.

At same time Venus is also in this alignment so these matters could also be about Values, Resources, Desires and Relationships. This is really a time of slowing down and reevaluating all those issues before you start anything new and or making any kind of big decisions regarding those matters. Even though Saturn is starting to move forward again it's going to be at a painstaking slow speed as Saturn will be at 28 degrees Scorpio until Aug 30 and won't reenter Sagittarius until Sep 17. This means those people born on those dates above and people born on the days following those dates above as well as all of us on some level are not out of the restriction yet. We need to take care of the details and plan for the future expansion of our life in a very grounded and mature way; being authentic with our heart desires even if that means breaking some commitments from the past if they are no longer relevant or doing things differently that we were not able to do before. As Jupiter moves thru this aspect and into Virgo on Aug 11 we might start to see new opportunities this next couple months but only if we are truly following our heart and dealing with root issues of the past that have kept us in restriction and lack. Aquarius Full Moon July 31 2015 - Emotional need for impulsive change

The month of July this year has a second full moon referred to as a blue moon which is in the sign of Aquarius at 7 degrees 55 minutes (8 degrees) exact at 3:42 am PDT July 31 2015. This will be in the early hours on Friday morning so by sight and feeling will be at its fullest Thursday night. As always the full moon phase in the 28 day lunar cycle is a time of release and change as we're becoming emotionally aware of what's out of balance in our life; so something has to give.  The sun and other energies are in the sign of Leo opposite of Aquarius so it's the Leo - Aquarius energy axis which is peaking in tension and needs more balance.

With the moon in Aquarius a lot of people will feel an impulsive need to make changes somewhere in their life that were totally unexpected and even circumstances can be unique and original this next few days as the Aquarius moon reflects the need not to play by the rules and seeks individuality with freedom to express the self from the heart in original ways. With the sun and other energies in Leo highlighting passion and drama the Aquarius moon will give most people an emotional need to detach from anything too heavy and dramatic that's been coming up in our life lately. What you expected to happen this weekend will most likely be totally different as that need for spontaneous impulsive action runs high.

This full moon is asking to balance the mind with the heart as contrary to popular belief the mind is not the enemy but an ally in helping to create innovative solutions to your life's desires that the heart seeks to fulfill. Think outside the box and try to keep pride and ego in check as you balance your feelings with your mind. As Aquarius brings emotional awareness to some of your hopes and dreams it's important to realize that logic can go a long way in helping you fulfill what your heart is seeking these days but be cautious not to rebel too much just for the sake of rebellion. Try and keep the emotional need for your freedom and individuality in balance with what is best for the entire group. Again, blend the best of the mind with the heart and you'll be ahead of the game with this full moon.

Aquarius is also the sign of friendships so those relationships reach peak tension and will start to balance out over the next two weeks. Ask yourself how much attention you've been giving your friendships along with your community participation rather than just acting on the need of self.  Can you be impulsive, free, unique, original while still being part of the group? This full moon will most likely highlight these issues if you've been out of balance lately. Dream big and let yourself feel what your heart is asking for as it will help to release the built up tension in your life right now. Cancer New Moon July 15 2015 - family matters need more attention.

This Cancer new moon on July 15 2015 will be exact at 6:24 pm PDT and is symbolic of new beginnings when it comes to how you feel about the past and where your life is heading for the future. Most of the energy is in Cancer now with the sun, moon, Mars and Mercury which will increase sensitivity and the need to protect self against feelings trying to rise to the surface. However this new moon is trine to Chiron which gives a supportive healing energy outlet to resolve some of these old emotions that have been too sensitive to deal with until now, including feelings about family and important relationships in our life. The new moon is square to Uranus indicating some possible surprising feelings or circumstances manifesting with a need to be more real and authentic with how we express our inner nature and natural reactions to what life throws at us. If you can set new intentions for home, family, feelings and relationships, along with getting what you need to feel emotionally safe and secure in the world you'll be right in alignment with nature.

This energy is very emotional and inward so people tend to be more private and reserved not wanting to share too much because some feelings can feel very unsafe to express. Some power struggles are possible. Venus is at the final degree of Leo square Saturn at this new moon moving very slow getting ready to spend 12 days at 0 degrees Virgo. This will cause relationships to have very little momentum to move forward. Rather we become critical and start to look for value in what we already have and desire.It will be easy to see whats wrong or missing in these relationships. Venus at 29 Leo gives us an urgency to create love, fun and joy from the heart. If relationships are lacking true authentic love, fun and joy, there could be issues arise the next couple weeks that you'll be forced to deal with. Venus Retrograde July 25 - Sep 6 2015 - Prepare for Relationship Lessons

Hey folks I have some very important astrological information for you regarding transit Venus. First let me give a quick refresher to what Venus is all about. Transit Venus is symbolic of what the universal attraction is (based on sign and aspects), also what the current universal values are and generally is a reflection of love, money and relationship matters. Venus is also the Feminine energy. She has about a year cycle around the sun and spends a few weeks in each sign & house bringing more attraction and value to each of those areas of our life thru the year. About every two years Venus appears to stop moving forward and turns backwards (retrograde) from the earth’s perspective. Well, it’s that time again but this retrograde phase seems to be more significant than others of the past because of the rare alignment with Jupiter in Leo as they both made a supportive aspect to revolutionary Uranus in Aries. We saw one of the reflections of this with the United States legalizing gay marriage in every state but there was most likely something sweet and fun for us all on a personal level as well. At least the desire for more.

Leo is symbolic of the heart along with creativity, love and joy which means this is what we’ve generally been attracted to this last month. The connection to Uranus is rare and gives us all an extra attraction to create more authenticity in our life and in matters of love and relationship. Venus will be moving backwards thru Leo until Sep 6 moving over all these fun heartfelt matters for a second time. When she starts to move forward again will pass over these same degrees a third and final time before reuniting with Jupiter for a third and final time in the sign of Virgo in October. Before that though, she slowly moves forward the next couple days and will square Saturn in Scorpio then move into 0 degrees of Virgo where she will appear to stay for 12 days until she moves back into Leo! Venus usually only spends one day in each degree so spending 12 days in the same degree is very rare and significant! So what does all this mean? It means we are about to face some relationship lessons this next couple months that might leave us with a reality check.

As Venus squares Saturn exact around noon PDT on July 13 this process of love lessons and reevaluating some important money and or relationships matters begins which will manifest differently for everyone but in general this square could set off some kind of disappointments about something we’ve been wanting and desiring; or in feeling disappointed in actual relationship and love that have seemed to be going well lately. From now until Oct 8 is NOT a good time to start any new relationship, or any kind of new financial investment.  Wait this one out! Relationships will NOT be expanding for a while but rather we go back over what we already have and reevaluate the value of these connections, things or heartfelt desires for the future. This will be a phase where we are perhaps challenged in matters of love and money so we can really understand what we value the most from our heart and how we plan on manifesting that for the long term. So if you face anything that’s getting you down around July 13 this would be why. Saturn is reflecting the need for maturity and financial responsibility, along with lessons around the power and control dynamics in our most important relationships; sharing of resources, deeper intimacy and sexuality, etc. If you still have not worked through these issues in your partnerships or self from the last couple years then you might very well face these tough lessons reflected by Saturn in this Venus Retro phase.

Venus has no momentum moving her forward anymore as she slows down preparing to station retrograde which makes her extra bright in the sky, causing her energy to be exalted and giving us powerful desires for something more. After the square with Saturn she slowly makes her way into 0 degrees of Virgo where she will stay for 12 days! This is the same time as the Cancer new moon on July 15. We need to set new intentions for what keeps us feeling safe and secure along with home and family matters. Venus’s move into Virgo at same time is reflecting very different energy than what we’ve been experiencing with Venus in Leo. Virgo is about reality and understanding the details of our money and love matters and what we need to feel secure. Venus in Virgo will make the Feminine in all of us more critical in our relationships really searching for the value of these connections or things that we desire. Venus at 0 Virgo for 12 days will be causing us to examine the health of our relationships and will help us see all that is wrong or missing which could cause some people to retreat from love as they sort these maters out.  Virgo is also symbolic of organization so there will be a strong need to get financial matters in order for the long term, as well as love. The more responsible you are with money and love the better things will go for you. Venus enters Virgo from July 18 – July 30.

Check your chart and see if you have any planets between 0-3 degrees of Virgo, Capricorn or Taurus. If so, Venus will be sending you positive supportive energy to take care of these matters responsibly and easily. However if you have any planets around 0-3 degrees of Sagittarius, Gemini or Pisces then Venus will be sending you some very challenging energy that could manifest extra strong for you and will cause tension and stress in your life forcing you to deal with issues whether you like it or not, especially relationship and financial matters. Because Venus also can symbolize social energy it’s possible you could have someone or more than one person around you for an extended stay that might be somewhat unusual; that is, if you have personal planets like the moon, sun or Venus at 0 degrees Virgo in your birth chart. This is just a possibility though. It could also manifest as something sweet or even resources if it’s one of those three planets at 0 Virgo. We become much more practical and real at this time when viewing our money and love matters.

Venus moves back into Leo on July 31 at which time the critical energy in relationships and money lets up a little bit and we start to reevaluate what our heart is calling for along with all those sweet desires we’ve had working up through the last month or so. She aligns with Jupiter for the second time on Aug 4 along with Mercury so there could be something important around that day or expressing our true desires from the heart. Although this would normally bring us something fun and sweet like the first alignment with Jupiter this time Venus, Jupiter and Mercury are squaring Saturn again! Bad news perhaps and another reality check to what we desire. Somber feelings in love are possible. Saturn is authority and is not supporting what we want and desire unless we’ve been mature and responsible. Some more disappointments are possible around this time especially if you have any personal planets around 28Leo,  28Aquarius, 28Taurus or 28Scorpio give or take a degree or two. The day looks significant. On a different note there will be some significant energy changes in other areas of life that week as well as Jupiter enters Virgo for the next year expanding work, skills and health matters as Mars enters Leo for six weeks increasing passion to manifest desires but I will write about those changes later. In the meantime Venus keeps moving back thru Leo joining the sun at 22 degrees Leo on Aug 15 a day after the Leo new moon on Aug 14. Venus and all she represents will be hidden as she’s too close to the sun to be seen in the sky but most likely some important matters will be highlighted around that new moon which will be a new beginning for all these love and money desires we want to create from the heart. Pay attention to your intentions around then and plan for the future because the sun, Mercury, Venus and Mars will all have to pass thru he square with Saturn to get final approval before all that sweet stuff can truly be manifested expanded in our life.

Venus stations direct at 14 degrees Leo on Sep 6 highlighting possible social events, love, or desires from June 21. But this time she unites with Mars increasing sexual energy and romantic desires. Think back to what was happening for you around June 21 as this conjunction could be related to what you wanted around then. She slowly builds momentum again reaching the final square with Saturn after reentering Virgo. So events from the 12 days at 0 Virgo (July 18- July 30) become very important again. We will know by then if we will get all that our heart has been calling for.

Venus and other planets will be making trines to Uranus in Aries so this retrograde phase will bring many ups and downs with even some big surprises. It’s important to stay flexible and ride these waves with grace. Perhaps some of the surprises will be positive. Regardless, Uranus is reflecting the need for heart felt authenticity in all matters of our life. If it doesn’t expand your joy and love, then perhaps it’s not right for you at this time.
