Astrology Report Jan 31 - Feb 6 - Leo full moon

 

This week in astrology the moon is building to full in creative Leo by this weekend Feb 5. Uranus is the main theme this week - expect the unexpected, disruptions and changes. This will be a very bold, passionate heartfelt dramatic full moon that brings emotional awareness and consciousness expansion. Possible changes to people of power and or issues with groups and politics. Things involving children could also come up. Changes in values, money and resources are possible as well, or at very least new awareness about such topics.

Venus square Mars has the lovers connecting in aspect of tension. Make love or war, love or hate. Strong desires, sparks fly, sexual tension is strong. Astrology report Jan 17-23-2023 - Aquarius new moon

 

This week in astrology has serious and intense energy as the sun joins Pluto and Venus joins Saturn. Intense focus, obsessiveness, power and control dynamics, the shadow, intensity and transformation, for good or bad. Venus with Saturn is serious relationship and money dynamics, some new commitments are possible. Written astrology for Jan 10 -16 with insights that go beyond.

Currently, Mars is stopped, not moving up in the sky from the earth's perspective (stationing). This reflects, that in general, all things that Mars rules are extra powerful right now - desire, drive, aggression and war, among other things. Mars rules Aries and Scorpio which is also highly stimulated areas of your chart right now, along with your house of Gemini, since this is where Mars is stationing direct. 

This Mars station reflects (in general) intense intellectual stimulation, nervousness, anxiety, restlessness,  powerful information, communications and mental processing. It's easier for there to be conflicts in schools, in the streets, on the roads, traveling, snd perhaps issues with technology and electronics in some cases. Health issues can also be inflamed under this vibe.  One problem with this Mars station is it shows a built up energy but with no where to go (temporally), which can cause frustration and irritation as well. You see Mars is in a weird angle with Capricorn which is where we have goals, ambitions, responsibilities and other serious matters of life. Mars does not have a clear path on how to achieve these ambitions, just yet.

The other issue is that Mercury rules Gemini where Mars is and Mercury is very slow right now, retrograde, backing its way into a station direct by next week, in the sign of goals, ambitions and plans, and what we want to achieve this year. Mercury also rules Virgo - health. Mars can't do its thing until Mercury is ready to move forward. We'll have to expect these Mars issues until then, the rest of the month.

Mercury has been very busy in this retograde, with important ideas, plans and conversations this past couple weeks as it's been aligned with the past, the future and destiny. As i write this, Mercury is back in alignment with the nodes of fate from now until January 23. Your thoughts and communications have been helping you process important information. It's just not done yet, but getting so close. Important communications are happening the next couple weeks which will more clearly reflect the direction forward.

Relationships have most likely been a big theme for a lot of you. This is one outlet that Mars has had this past week or so as Venus in Aquarius has been trine Mars in Gemini. This is air energy so intellectual and communicative romance connections, friendships, groups, communities, politics, and social causes. Now that the moon is in Libra, it's forming a grand Air trine with Venus and Mars connecting important relationships again on Friday, which could be romantic, friendly, very social, communicative and intellectually stimulating, AND important for the future. Any important relationship activity this past week and for the rest of the month also has fateful connections as Venus was T-square the nodes of Fate this past few days. Meaning, anything that went down in relationship this past few days could have put you at a crossroads for the future. Venus there could be a financial crossroads as well. Fateful activity in either love or money that will have long lasting consequences for good or bad.

Venus is not in an easy spot in the sky. Venus is in-between the two heavy weights Saturn and Pluto. This reflects serious and intense relationship energy, which only gets stronger until the sun passes Pluto and Venus passes Saturn, which won't be until the last week of January. Even by then, Mars will still be in the same spot it's at right now. Venus in Aquarius needs freedom and independence. It has a hard time conforming to romantic and social norms. It's easier for romance to be in the head then shown in reality, but love and money matters are still serious and involve the future as Venus conjuncts Saturn by Jan 22.

Love and money energy will change into something different by the end of the month, perhaps into something better for most. Until then - serious and intense, somewhat detached, stubborn and fixed in its relationship opinions. 

Saturday Jan 14 is the last quarter moon between Libra and Capricorn -

 A challenge in love and relationships vs responsibilities, goals and ambitions. We can say it starts Friday though. The mood and circumstances are with love and relationships, but the focus is on responsibilities, goals, and ambitions. There could be some emotional or mood challenges along these lines.  If possible - combine both areas! Relationship responsibilities. However, this last quarter moon sets off an intense phase until the next new moon in Aquarius as the moon squares Pluto followed by the sun conjunct Pluto next week. Emotional power plays, intensity and transformation to life could easily happen for a lot of people the rest of this month. As we go through this last quarter moon in Libra, it's ruled by Venus which is square Uranus on Saturday as well! Be careful of impulsions in love or money. Don't do anything you will regret Later. No need to be rebellious or perverse. Use clear honest open communication to resolve any relationship issues this weekend.

 

Venus square Uranus could be unpredictable in money and relationship dynamics. This can be positive or negative, depending. Sudden attractions, turn ons/offs, excitement or impulsiveness in money or love. Breaking free, trying something new, unusual tastes and preferences, changing of desires, attractions, experimentational, etc. Social intensity, with friends or within groups, community,  and politics, involving money. or other unexpected disruptions. A break in routine. Unusual display of feelings is possible, or unconventional behavior. If relationships can get past this point and not end, then relationship and money dynamics greatly change into next week; changes, one way or the other. The best way is to remain mature, serious and committed, but open to trying new things within money and relationship situations, somehow doing it differently and more successfully than before. 

Sunday the moon enters Scorpio with the mood and circumstances getting deep and intense, both with love and money. Some conflict between the spoken words vs telepathic or unspoken words as we start the new week. This will challenge Venus in Aquarius (some relationships) with intimacy and transformation vs casual and detached; communicative vs silent, etc. Relationships are headed for seriousness, intensity and commitment. The mood and desires are deep and strong but it's tension filled. Patience and delayed gratification is possibly needed, looking into the future, factoring in current responsibilities and commitments before new commitments can take place. It does seem in general people are headed for new commitments by the end of the month into the spring. This can be in any context.

Sun sextile Neptune

The good news (i guess) is that the sun has easy aspect to Neptune in Pisces next several days, showing outlet to escapism, retreat, dreams, fantasies, and could perhaps soften the Capricorn sun and focus a bit during these other transits, creating more empathy and sensitivity. 

However, there's still likely to be moments of intensity with hardcore reality.  It could also playout through political or social financial scandals. Intense gov't events.

As we get to the end of the month, Uranus will be direct and there will be no retrogrades, all energies direct! Battle plans are being drawn up now, new campaigns start late winter, in many different contexts. Massive pushes into new territory of our lives. 2023 has life transformation at an extremely critical point with a sense of urgency and extremes! There will be plenty of time for major action. For now, take your time, do it right, go slow, be cautious, take care of business, get prepared. Power and control issues will dominate the rest of January. Stay in your power, but allow other people to stay in their power as well. The sun shines a light on transformation, death, rebirth, power, control, shadow, taboo, intensity, and the depths of what is normally hidden. Seek balance.

Astrology chart for Bryan Kohberger - killer of 4 students

 

 I know this is a dark subject, but understanding the astrology of these types of events is how you can truly learn astrology in ways that books won't teach you. 

In this post i will show you the solar chart of the killer and the chart of the event below. I got his birth date from court records showing Nov 21 1994. I don't have location or time of birth so we use the solar chart placing the sun on Ascendant, which is very accurate. 

One thing I want to point out first is that Kohberger has the moon in Cancer. The night of the murders the moon was in Cancer, and as I write this the moon is full in Cancer as new details of the case are emerging with this Cancer full moon. The moon in Cancer is not a placement one would associate with this type of event. It's a placement associated with emotional sensitivity, tenderness (with people they care about) and security needs, plus having strong home and family attachments. However, the fact that Cancer is a theme in this event it shows the killing had a strong emotional self nurturing connection. 

Kohberger's main energy is all that Scorpio though, which is at the most extreme having the sun at a critical 29 degree conjunct Pluto and Jupiter square Mars in Leo! This is a sense of urgency.  Leo Mars square Scorpio is very dramatic in its displays of rage and power. It usually shows a private taboo sexual component too  This is very private secretive energy that Kohberger has. Jupiter there is the higher education and over amplification in all things Scorpio since Pluto is with Jupiter -research and investigation into the most extreme taboos. This is extremely obsessive in whatever he focuses on. 

Another stand out part of his chart is south node in Taurus ruled by retrograde Venus in Scorpio, but in a grand trine with his moon and Saturn (strong traditional home and family past life connection). This shows that his past life karma has a connection to this event, these people he killed and how this will affect his family. This was meant to be an extreme all or nothing life with all those planets on the North Node Scorpio. Something was unresolved from past life connection to his family and women. This chart is extremely revengeful, not forgetting or forgiving anything, strongly emotionally attached to the past, which in this case could be past life unconscious memory that has created this psychological and emotional issue. His past life was about keeping things nice, beautiful and pleasant, enjoying the luxuries of life, but this time around, Scorpio is his path, at the most extreme, which is the opposite of everything nice and pleasant. The 12th house makes sense too, the house of isolation and prison connected to his 8th house of death. Kohberger might appear emotionally void, but he has strong emotions hidden and controlled. Plus the grand trine to his moon makes him comfortable with all this darkness so does not emotionally suffer as much, necessarily.

Anyway, let's look at the chart for the event now that we have more accurate data.

Nov 13 2022 around 4-4:30 am. Moscow ID.

Even without the exact minute, it's going to be Libra Rising ruled by Venus in Scorpio no matter what. Venus also rules the 8th house of death. Venus is in Mars's sign(the weapon), but Venus is in charge, although has issues being in Scorpio with these other aspects, plus ruled by A retrograde Mars in the 9th house. The 9th house shows the higher education connection, and the killer being from far away, Rx, coming back from the past. So the killer is Venus in this chart which is Kohberger. Makes sense though since his own Venus in Scorpio Rx rules that past life of Taurus all about Venus. The moon in Cancer at the top of the chart is also part of that emotional theme I talked about.

Pluto was on the 4th house cusp(home). Pluto is the shadow dark-side, also associated with Scorpio. Uranus was on the 8th house cusp of unexpected suspiring death, again ruled by Venus. 

The grand water trine made this event go smoothly. That's why we shouldn't say trines are always positive, and squares are always negative, it all depends. Trines just adds support and flow to whatever is happening, for good or bad. 

Signs and planets are not good or bad. Every sign and planet has a dark side and light side, it all depends on the entire chart with aspects and all the other considerations taken into account.

Astrology report for Jan 3-9 2023

This week in astrology the sun is highlighting Uranus for practical changes to goals, plans, money, and resources, etc. We are more open to what's new and different. The moon is building toward full in Cancer by Jan 6 - strong emotions, feelings and intuition vs being logical, analytical and practical. Home, family, domestic life concerns coming to a head. Safety and security concerns, etc. New understandings, with illumination to needs and desires for the coming year is possible.
