Astrology Jan 30-Feb 5 2024 - Last Qrt Moon in Scorpio + 1st ever Mercury conj Pluto in Aquarius

 

This week's astrology continues to have a strong focus on Capricorn and Aquarius. A lot of what's already been playing out continues - On mundane level - Government and Politics, groups and organizations - rules, laws and policies going through changes. On a personal level it's a lot about work, goals, ambitions, plans and things we would like to achieve for the year ahead. There's a strong intellectual and objectiveness with some detachment. Groups, friends, and general social vibes are strong. Hopes, wishes and dreams for the future are in focus.  The moon will wane through Libra, Scorpio and Sagittarius this week. Moon in Libra Tues through the first half of Thurs has the mood more social and communicative, wanting to be engaged in relationship with better balance, fairness, compromise, etc. Being objective and wanting to weigh things out is a stronger emotional need.  The mood changes second half of Thurs until Saturday night with the moon in Scorpio reaching the last quarter moon phase -the crisis in consciousness. The vibes become more raw, deeper, intense and passionate. There is an emotional attachment that's hard to let go of. There's a need to control feelings and circumstances. Power and control issues. Picking up on undercurrents, what's unspoken. Suspicion, jealousy  and negative feelings could be an issue but a need for deeper intimacy is strong. Mood, circumstances and financial matters could be challenged. A battle between intellect and intuition - attachment vs detachment. Fears, death, loss, betrayal could be concerns. The mood is inward and private. Moon in Sagittarius Saturday night through Monday is generally more uplifting and outward. Big needs and desires, big mood, big circumstances. It's more about wanting freedom, adventure, play, exploring, learning, teaching but outward opinions are strong. Mercury ingress Aquarius and then conjunct Pluto shows a change of mind, perspective and communication style. People are generally more detached, objective, communicative but also stubborn with thoughts and opinions, even perverse and very original and can be difficult with conforming. Intense mind and communications, obsessiveness, persuasiveness, powerful words and thoughts. Politics get heated to the next level.  Venus square Chiron next week could show an issue with a female government official.
