Everything in the solar system is made up of the five elements - Earth, Air, Fire, Water and Spirit including you and I ranging in different percentages based on the exact day, time and location of our birth. We all have the same amount of spirit which is our connection to the divine. Also we all have different percentages of the modes of expression - Cardinal, Fixed and Mutable energy. The universe is divided up into two principles - Masculine and Feminine which has nothing to do with our gender or sexual  orientation. They are bold, confident, courageous often finding themselves in dangerous situations of adventure because they act without thinking. They are leaders and masters of creativity. They can be impatient and want what they want right now. Water is about being sensitive and in touch with emotions; compassionate and imaginative; intuitive, healers, nurtures, etc. Earth is people that are conservative, traditional, structured, stable, practical, masters of the physical plane of existence, etc.

Cardinal is people that are here to initiate new experiences all thru life. These people know change well and no matter how bad they might want roots they rarely stay put long enough to grow them. Mutable peeps need to stay flexible and adoptable to whatever the universe sends them whereas Fixed is grounded stable and rooted in one place most of their life, building something for the long term.
