Story of Me and the Fly

I had been thinking the last few days wondering about what's next for my life and feeling so limited on options that some days it feels like i am totally trapped stuck in my glass box looking out at so many possibilities and so much expansiveness in the world, and yet every time I try to move forward to meet that I keep running into an invisible wall that keeps me stuck in place.

As i set wallowing in my own misery wondering if the universe is gonna help me out some i noticed a fly in the house which kept freaking out, flying all around in desperation running into it's own invisible boundaries called the window, as it was looking for a way out into the light.

How confused this fly must have felt, (if flies could feel) seeing the big open wide world and yet this fly too could not figure out how to penetrate that barrier and fly free out into the world. From my perspective it seemed the fate of this fly was settled; that there could be no way the efforts of this little fly would be able to free itself from this box it ended up in some how; that much larger forces out side of its control were keeping it pinned down, unable to move out into the openness of freedom again. Interesting i thought. Spirit is constantly around us in all moments sending us messages through symbology. I figured there must be a message here for me considering me and this fly have so much in common.

It took me a few minutes to reach that conclusion though because at first I was just annoyed with the fly and was thinking about rolling up some newspaper and ending the annoyance. But then i realized how i must be as annoying to larger forces outside my control, appearing all helpless unable to free myself asking for salvation. How messed up it would be if i killed this fly in the very same situation.

This fly doesn't mean much to me and why would anyone want to help it? Why would spirit want to help me? We are all connected on some levels unseen. What i do for you i do for me. As above so below; everything is always working on multiple levels on both larger and smaller dimensions.

Would it even be possible for such a large power source like me to help such a small delicate creature like the fly, without accidentally harming it through tying to help it? Am i suppose to help it? You know the fly would not be very cooperative in that process. I then wondered how cooperative I've been with the universe trying to help me. How could i even expect divine forces to step in and help out when i think nothing of this poor fly trapped in the same situation?

 To save this fly it would take some patience and gentle care to ensure its safety do to my overwhelming strength in comparison that could kill it just by a single touch. Maybe that's why higher forces have such a hard time helping people.

Anyway, the gist of my story is i took the time to save the fly and set it free out into the world once again. How could i expect divine forces to help me if not willing to see all life in the same sacred perspective no matter how insignificant it may seem on my level?- it was everything for that fly.

Free-will vs Fate: My Spiritual Perspective

The question of free-will vs fate has been on my mind a lot lately as i see it on the minds of other people around me as well. I've been meaning to write about how i see these complicated spiritual matters for awhile now so thought i would go ahead and share my unique perspective with you on this subject. I don't expect everyone to subscribe to my line of thinking but i hope you will at least stay open to the possibilities i present to you here.

Astrology clearly shows which people in life will be free-thinkers, and whom will be more open to the theory of fate and prearranged destiny. The free-thinkers usually hate to be controlled in any way and would rather leave all the power within self to make what they will of this human experience, verses relying on outside sources to determine what is possible. On the other extreme some people feel they have no power, or free-will to decide for themselves how life will play out. Is it possible both sides hold truths? From my perspective every truth is only but half truth. If there is no destiny in life then why can astrology even pinpoint these individual preferences to begin with? From what I've experienced people with a lot of Aquarius and Aries energy (not necessarily Sun sign) or a strong Uranus placement in birth chart are typically the rebels of the group because their energy is geared more towards personal freedom, independence and needing to discover what is true for themselves. Although these folks feel they are on a very unique individual path, controlling it all as they go, they most often fail to understand that their personal astrology clearly reflected those preferences from the start. So you see? How can your astrology know this about you if destiny is not true? There is in fact destiny in life on some levels or astrology would not hold true like it has for thousands of years.

This does not dismiss free-will in any way. My secret to this understanding is knowing that we live in a multiple dimensional universe where our time on earth in this present moment is not the same time of spirit and the universal energies of fate. Therefore what seems like "forever" here on earth is only but a "second" there, in spirit. My spiritual philosophy shows us as souls that reincarnate into different planes of existence in order to gain experience and soul growth. I feel every life in connected to the next life and we use our soul's free-will to agree to a particular life path 'before' reincarnation that does indeed have boundaries and limits.

I see this as the universe giving us guidelines for each life based on our last life & choices made in that life which is what i call Karma. Think of it like this: The universe sets a clear path for us that we agree to before birth based on our past-life experience. If looking down on this path from the heights of the divine, it may seem narrow and limiting. However, imagine zooming in closer and closer to our prearranged path on a map - the boundaries would appear to widen further apart the closer we get until so close that the boundary lines become far apart & unseen from the earth perspective. It's no different then using the zoom function on a actual map. So this is our path on the earth walk which seems like we get unlimited options all about free-will yet when we deviate too far in any one direction from our soul's prearranged path we eventually bump into those divine walls and restrictions called Karma and Fate (aka Saturn, North & South Nodes of the Moon that holds our destiny.) Our "free-will" actions in that narrow path are having long term consequences well past what most people understand as your choices in this life effect your next life as well but those possible actions are limited to the boundaries of this current path. Karma isn't necessarily instant. Again, it's the "my time is not your time" understanding. We have free-will each day on how we consciously choose to perceive our life, limits and restrictions. How we feel and think about a situation is everything and will make life better if done long enough but a lot of that positive thinking gets reflected back to us in our next life. Time thing.

To think that there is no larger forces outside of our control effecting our life is a bit delusional. There is no such thing as chance as we are all interconnected thru other dimensions. Just look around at nature and the power of those out-side forces become clear. Did the fish plucked out of the water by a bird choose that experience in that moment? Did the fish have any understanding that its destiny was to be a meal? Perhaps before incarnation but not in that moment at least on a conscious level.. Does my free-will allow me to do whatever i want or become whatever i choose? If i wanted to, could i become president of the U.S. or a NASA scientist at this point in my life? No way. I could try and then quickly bump into my boundaries and limits of my current life path. Astrology doesn't make anything happen, it's only a reflection of what is which was determined by soul and spirit in a different dimension before this incarnation. So your so called free-will choices are being influenced by invisible energies that surround you giving you the desire to think and feel a certain way.

So for all you free-thinking rebels out there, just know that you are not beyond universal law. Your astrology shows that you would be this very way to begin with, right from birth. Perhaps in a past life you gave all your power away feeling as though you had no control and these current rebel urges are just to bring more balance to your soul. What ever individual attachments we die with whether perceived as "good" or "bad" are brought with us into our next life so we can then detach and balance. This is true for the opposite extreme as well - people who put all their power into forces outside of self never recognizing their free-will thru their divine path agreed to before birth. Again, we do have free-will choices within that path, in a way. For those people that have challenging life circumstances perhaps these lessons are needed based on what your soul experienced in other realities of past lives. Everything is for lessons and soul growth. If you do have big challenges in this life which can be seen in your astrology and brought about from past life actions then one lesson for the soul is to learn how to master universal law & life circumstances; that what you do comes back to you at a later time, next life. Our intent in action/choice is one of the most important factors to what comes back around.

So this is our free will choice in life; saying yes or no is possible with some situations within our chosen path if not too fated and if they are fated learning how to accept and make the best of this fate that we choose before birth by understanding and accepting our causation in that and accepting our limitations; learning how to transmute the "negative" into something "positive" yet many will not even attempt but rather stay in self pity by begging to, or praying to outside sources for salvation. Am i saying prayer is bad? Not at all, it helps set the energy in motion but the lesson is to transmute the energy on our own, as we are the God we pray to. Others will just stay in denial and illusion that they have total control which makes disillusionment all that more painful when it comes.

30 year Progressed Lunar Cycle Reading

If you are new to Astrology, then you probably don't know much about progressions. There is so much more to this ancient science than the natal chart and the personality insights that it offers. Everything in the universe works in cycles and just like a monthly Lunar cycle that gives us eight distinct phases within a 28 day period, we also each have a much larger personal Lunar cycle that takes 3 decades to complete with each of the eight phases within this process that takes about 3-4 years each. Knowing the details of your progressed Lunar cycle is vital in making good decisions for your life! The Lunar cycle can be compared to growing a garden. I often use this analogy to help people understand the process. After all, this was one of the main purposes for finding correspondences with the heavens and the earth in ancient times; staying in the flow of nature for better crop/harvest production. The Moon was the guiding light as it gives us clues on best times to proceed. So let me briefly explain the full cycle and how it works for people. I will use my own progressed Lunar cycle dates as an example.

When you order this reading from me, i will include the dates of all your eight phases and what that means for you. The New Moon is the first phase and is when the Moon and Sun are conjoined as one in the same degree, minute, and sign of the zodiac. This is symbolic of a "new beginning" in that area of your personal chart that this conjunction takes place in. There is no light being reflected off the Moon at this point, everything is dark. This goes for your life as well. In the prior years, old structures and support systems fell away from you and there is a need for a fresh start in someway for the next 30 years of your life that corresponds to the sign and house of your New Moon placement, including aspects formed to other personal energies. This reading will help you choose and understand what you can create next in this long process. The New Moon is when you have your garden properly prepared for the upcoming growing season. Your soil is rich & nutritious, ready to plant your seeds of choice symbolic of you needing to plant "intentions" for your future so they can grow up healthy and strong. It all starts with this phase and your future success in these matters greatly depends on how well you have prepared your garden for the upcoming season. This phase is about focusing on what you want to create but knowing that the results will not be seen for a while, so you  must have patience and faith in the process.

The Crescent phase is when the Moon has moved ahead of the Sun and is progressing through the cycle, now showing a sliver of light, symbolic of waxing energy and the momentum of nature giving energy to your seedlings to grow. Your baby sprouts (intentions) are trying to show and just now pushing thru the soil. This is symbolic of your intentions now starting to show progress but not all the seedlings have made it and you are getting a good idea of which ones will and which ones, will not. In the real world, this is about you taking action on your intentions.

The First Quarter phase is when your little seedlings are completely showing. Now you know which intentions have a chance at life. This is a critical phase in the process and the beginning of much hard work for the rest of the growing season (cycle). Your baby sprouts are small and vulnerable. You must take great care to ensure their safety until they are more mature and stable in order to survive the elements. It's time to let go of your fears of the future while putting in the time,  loving care, and hard work in your garden so in order to guarantee success in later phases. This phase will bring you many challenging circumstances to over-come in your life at this time, but should also feel exciting as you are finally seeing progress starting to show up in your intentions. The brightness of the Moon is only increasing with every month from this point on.

The Gibbous phase can be compared to the vegetative growth phase in the overall growing cycle. Your seedlings are now little plants and much stronger, needing less critical care and more routine maintenance such as clearing out the weeds, pruning, watering, and feeding, etc; symbolic of your real life intentions building and needing less care as nature's momentum is on your side, supporting growth.  The Moon is approaching Full and you can clearly see your life advancing with your goals becoming more absolute. It's been many years of handwork, patience, and dedication to your dreams. Excitement is building but so are your worries and concerns about the upcoming harvest. Will it be everything you imagined? The next phase will tell.

The Full Moon phase has finally arrived where both hopes and fears can now materialize. Your crop is fully flowering and will be reflective of your own hard work and dedication to the process. Have you shown your garden (intentions) the love, care, and devotion that was required for success? Or, did you get sidetracked along the way, deviating from your chosen path, leaving your harvest to be less productive? If things have been going well your intentions and life will peak at this phase. All the building energy for the last 15 years will now climax and start to slowly release its energy. This can take the form of every area in your life peaking, such as relationship, career, and whatever area of life your New Moon started in, now becoming Full. Your personal yield will depend on everything that took place that last 15 years. This is going to be the biggest three-four years of your life. Most of us get at least two of these high points, which is why it's so important to know what this over-all cycle consist of.

The Disseminating phase is when you must harvest your crop. If you don't harvest your flowering plants, all the time and hard work of the past 18 years or so will rot on the vines and be wasted! This is symbolic of doing something with your life now that involves these past intentions. Everything that has built up must be put to good use for yourself and others, or it will go to waste. It's time to take what you have grown, learnt, and share that with others! However, the pressures have been released and the energy is now waning so you should be feeling much lighter at this point in your life. You had a great deal of responsibility in the Full Moon phase bringing you many exciting opportunities, even disappointments but if you failed to live up to your own dreams, you may now want to head for the hills, so to speak and escape even further from the responsibilities and pressures of society.

The Third Quarter phase is another stressful time where you might be looking back at all your past decisions and actions feeling self-critical and asking yourself if you did enough to ensure proper success. You may feel disappointed at the results or feel all went really well. The past could be in focus now as you think of better ways to grow a future garden. What can you change or do better next time? Your soul has many lives and never forgets the lessons of each life, so this knowledge will come in handy later and even in this life you may have one more big 30 year cycle to experience, after this one is fully complete. It's time to bring stability to these past intentions. This will be the main theme of the third quarter lunar phase.

The Balsamic phase is when you must start clearing out your garden of everything old from the previous growing cycle. Retilling the soil and discarding any remaining vegetation so a new garden can be grown. This is a dark and cold phase with any remaining light on the Moon from the third quarter phase now quickly disappearing into darkness once again, symbolic of winter and needing to let go of everything out-dated in your life at that point so you have room for something new on the next upcoming New Moon phase. Usually people will face lonesome times in this phase as change is taking over. All your old support systems and the people, places, and things you've relied on up to this point could be falling away now. It's time to find better ways and soul search.Whatever is leaving your life is no longer supportive of your journey and should be let go of gracefully. It's time to prepare your garden (life) for a new season!

The 30 year process starts all over again in a different area of your chart; life, with a return to the New Moon.

I hope the garden analogy helped you understand this long process better. You could be anywhere in this cycle and the only way to find out is through contacting an astrologer that specializes in this type of work, like me! Wouldn't it be great to know? Most people do not know and when they start a New Moon phase they are usually unconsciously setting future intentions but not knowing their true path can easily deviate from that, leaving their Full Moon phase less productive then otherwise would have been.
