Aquarius New Moon Feb 8 2016 - using intellect to help manifest new visions on the horizon

Welcome to another New Moon. This one is at 19 degrees Aquarius on Feb 8 2016 at 6:39 am PST Monday morning. This is always an opportune time for working with the energies of new beginnings and planting seeds of intentions for changes in certain areas of life. If you find the house in your chart that has Aquarius on the cusp, this will show you what area of your life is ready for some kind of change. In general though, this new moon is best used for starting fresh when it comes to you, friends and how you see yourself within the group context.

 Another open outlet is redefining your vision, hopes, dreams, plans and ambitions for the future and what you would like to manifest this year, looking far ahead, detaching from heavy emotions and staying open minded, viewing life intellectually. This energy will make is easier to break some rules, be innovative, independent, and think out side of the box when it comes to visions and long term plans. Aquarius season is always the odd ball time of year when people act a little strange from the norm, looking to express themselves in natural authentic ways. This energy can increase the need for rebelliousness, emotional detachment,strong need for freedom and independence along with being more private with your feelings and life matters even-though this is good social friendship energy it's done from an emotionally detached place that doesn't appreciate others crowding you. Sometimes this energy can inspire such rebellion that people find it easier to socially break rules and act out, even in perversity at times if they are struggling to contain a need to break from current restrictions holding them back in life.

The energy is very detached now and not very emotionally sensitive at all because there is a lot of Capricorn and Aquarius being activated. That will all change when we move into Pisces season next month but for now, this is where we are at: using the mind and intellect to make decisions rather than feelings, although a new moon means feelings are on-board as well. Get your future visions in order and then plant seeds of intentions for those thoughts, and you will see that they start to manifest over the next 6 months. Write them down!

There is two separating aspects from this new moon. One is a square from Mars that was exact over the weekend which adds a lot of aggressive competitive energy, being over-assertive, reckless, determined and overly active and rebellious to do what we want to do. Some conflicts are possible with this but it's mainly about frustrations from the previous lunar cycle that we needed to release over the weekend so won't be playing a big part in this new lunar cycle starting, besides some left over frustrating desires to get what we want at all cost but has allowed us to have more determination in this cycle for real change. The other aspect is a separating sextile to Uranus in Aries which also was exact over the weekend connected to the previous lunar cycle helping us get excited about making real changes to our life in dramatic ways, releasing old visions and emotional roadblocks that have been in the way of manifesting  true change, which this new moon now allows for.


The strongest aspect of this new moon is an applying Quincunx aspect to Jupiter and the North Node in Virgo.This is an aspect of adjustment that will become obvious in the coming days. As something in our life makes it clear that we need to adjust our long term plans and visions in order to fully achieve them.We might get reminded that we need to narrow focus from the big vision and look at the details of any new plans as well, not forgetting to be organized and practical. Adjustments will be necessary over the next few days.These adjustments will have major impacts on your future so make sure to take any annoying practical matters or concerns nagging at you, seriously.

Relationships are also at a new point with this new moon, including friendships and all connections, reflected by Venus past Pluto square Uranus and now moving into a trine with Jupiter and the North Node. Over the next few days relationships will be in positive alignment helping expand new beginnings and future opportunities with others in different ways than the past. Relationship activity the first week of the new moon will have big impacts on the future with the people that you are dealing with now. There will be some kind of positive expansion taking place with others and also possibly with money matters. There will be a good solid plan for the future this week in how to get all the things we want and desire, including relationship desires. So that's very positive after some relationship disruptions lately - we start to get what we want! There is also a healing aspect with this new moon and relationships, a true new beginning when it comes to connecting with others.

So set your intentions Monday morning after the new moon is exact for best results. Start new activities, plans, dreams, etc as this is perfect new beginning energy for manifesting all your dreams and visions. Write them down! Start a new way in how you see yourself and interact within the group while still staying an individual and unique, allowing others to be unique as well.  Expect some odd funky stuff this cycle. It is Aquarius after all!
